Try A Cliché

We seem to forget that almost all of us use clichés in our everyday life – without even knowing it! A simple liner said can lead to a number of euphemisms or clichés without intending on it. Clichés can at times be highly annoying or extremely funny, here are a few examples:

First most obvious one is saying goodnight to someone – “Night, sleep well, don’t let the bed bugs bite!” – Cliché without even realizing!

How about when you are early and get something before anyone else? “The early bird gets the worm” or what about when you are with a really cute guy and your /his friend just doesn’t get the hint? “Two’s company, three’s a crowd!” (Some people still don’t get that one :/)

There are so many clichés that are almost so hilarious – “ugly as sin”, “that baby runs like a scalded dog”, “no use crying over spilled milk”, “don’t bite the hand that feeds you”, “good as gold”, and “slippery as an eel” – not sure what that one is supposed to mean!  My favourite though – “everything happens for a reason”, cliché I know, but this cliché I find to be so true.

Hmmm, interesting concept to think that we are existing in daily cliche’s. I like that you included a list of different one’s.

Didn’t really feel yourself in this one as much as before though. Needs more ‘you’ in it.
