What I’ve Learnt Over These Holidays

July 6, 2010 at 14:11 (Uncategorized)

Although I’ve known this all along, Cape Town is the best place to live,

Baking a cake should not flop four times in a row,

Offering to do something nice can sometimes backfire,

However, doing something nice can also turn out great,

Never do the fan walk with family…..,

Guitar hero is one of the best Nintendo Wii games ever,

Exercise really helps with motivation and self esteem,

Nature is really one of God’s best gifts to the world,

Gluhwien should only be made by professionals, Namibians or Germans,

Rekindling a lost friendship is great,

Spending time with your best buddies is even better and the utmost

important thing and most fun 🙂 ;

Never fall asleep with your electric blanket on;

But most importantly, learning that losing isn’t the end of the world.

With the world cup Bafana Bafana played to the best they could and as a true supporter I do not look down on their loss at all, they supported our country well and did us proud. I am a true South African supporter and proud of it.

    I love this! I love this! I love this!

    So different, and yet so relevant! Love that I’m part of the list too haha!

    Steph really, I am so intrigued at your new writing ability. This was so fun and grabbing…and you listed some pretty hilarious items. What I love most about your new style that you put in here and there, is that you are making your blogs personal – and that is what makes them easy to associate with and fun to read! Well done.
