Andy Warhol said, “In the future everybody will be world famous for fifteen minutes.” You can’t choose the 15 minutes but why would you be world famous?

Andy Warhol was right…. Everyone gets to be famous at least once in their life for at least 15 minutes.  This could be anything from managing to get into Hollywood and proving yourself or simply being famous in your local village for being the first to ….. [You can decide what gets to go here 😉 ]

If I had 15 minutes to be world famous in…. it would probably be for discovering some kind of cure for cancer.  Cancer is such a terrible disease and the worst part is, sometimes you discover it and it’s too late.  If I had 15 minutes of fame, it would be for having designed some kind of medical equipment that allows for being able to scan the body in search of cancer quickly and efficiently.  This way, everyone could go for annual checkups and be able to see if they have cancer cells and then be able to be treated correctly as to avoid the cancer getting worse.

Unfortunately my skill set does not possess even a single piece of knowledge that would allow me to develop such a fine piece of equipment…. However, I hope someone else can develop this and perhaps get the 15 minutes of fame – and more – that they deserve.

A very considerate entry Steph. Spoken from the heart and I could feel that in your entry.
